Skin Whitening Products - Answers to Your Commonly

I have some good news: What if I told you there are excellent skin whitening
products that can bleach the surface of the skin and keep it young looking and healthy? For the longest time it wasn't really feasible to change it, but with the way cosmetics have progressed over the past twenty years it has become quite possible to make your skin a much lighter shade. Some may have questions regarding how these products work.

Here are the most common questions and their corresponding answers:

Question: What do skin whitening products do?

Answer: As their name implies, these products are designed to lighten the skin tone of the person who applies the products. This is done for aesthetic reasons. Namely, it is done to reverse the effects of aging on the human and keep skin young looking.

Question: How are skin whitening products applied?

Answer: The vast majority of skin whitening products is applied in the form of a topical cream. Yes, there are also non-aerosol spray applicators on the market but creams are the most popular. They are easy to apply and deliver excellent results.

Question: How long does it take to see results?

Answer: The results will vary depending upon the severity of the dark spots on the skin. In general, definitive results can be achieved within two weeks. In some instances, results can be acquired quicker while others may need a little longer. However, results will be achieved if you have a quality product that has long since been proven to keep skin several shades lighter and still youthful looking and healthy.

Question: Are the bleaching agents in most skin care products considered safe?

Answer: It is understandable that those seeking to lighten their skin or keep skin young looking using this method, want to be assured of the safety of the ingredients. It used to be that a product which was FDA approved, cast no doubt on the safety of a product. However, times have changed.

Some individuals may notice minor allergic reactions or they will experience irritations and even worse - with harsh, toxic substances in bleaching agents - which were initially thought to be harmless. However, with plant-based natural ingredients, no severe or harmful side effects have been reported.

Question: Is this product recommended for someone of any age?

Answer: In general, it is best to avoid using skin whitening products if you are under 18 since the body has not yet fully developed. Most people who use this type of product are between the ages of 40 and 70. However, those that are younger equally stand to gain benefits from using the product, showing off vibrant and healthy looking skin with even skin tones.

Question: What are the benefits of these products?

Answer: There are a great variety of benefits to certain skin whitening products. The main value, of course, is the ability to lighten one's skin. When the skin is lightened, many of the scars, blemishes, or moles will be less obvious to see.

Also, there are some products that contain replenishing ingredients. If these ingredients are natural, they can work wonders as far as improving the elasticity of the skin which can reduce wrinkles and other problems.

Do yourself a favour and start treating yourself to a skin lightening product, if you have skin that is a little darker than you want. There are whitening agents, with proven ingredients such as Extrapone Nutgrass, available on the market and that can fit any budget.

Make no mistake about it, if you have concerns about your skin shade and signs of facial aging, you can purchase a product which will more than likely put the problem to rest. It is highly recommended to choose a natural plant-based product which poses no harmful side effects and can guarantee results.

The Dangers of Skin Whitening

Following the recent ban of hydroquinone in many countries, there has been a wide debate regarding the safety of skin whitening products and their respective ingredients.
So, what’s safe and what’s not in the world of skin whitening?
The following are the findings from a report conducted on behalf of SW+SS Skin Whitening by Dr Jonathan Lindenberg, skincare adviser.

-Hydroquinone. Although Hydroquinone is a very strong inhibitor of melanin production, it has been banned from various countries due to the link found with cancer. It is considered to be an irritant above 4% concentration and can be an unstable ingredient in formulations of cosmetic products.

-Mercury. Highly Toxic. Both an acute and chronic poison. Its carcinogenicity has been well documented.

-Arbutin. It contains the chemical glucosylated hydroquinone. It can be extracted from various types of berries and pears. No studies have been made regarding its toxicity, but there are fears that it can have the same links with cancer found in Hydroquinone.

-Tretinoin. It is a derivative of Vitamin A. It has various uses in dermatology, including skin whitening. It can cause thinning and dryness of the skin. Sensitive skin types can also experience redness, scaling, itching and burning.

-Kojic acid. A byproduct of the fermentation process for making the Japanese alcoholic drink sake. Recent studies in mice have shown that there is evidence on the carcinogenicity of kojic acid, but its yet unproven if the same applies on humans.

-Azelaic acid. Originally used to skin acne, has been found to have skin whitening properties. It can be a skin and eye irritant, but it’s believed that there is no risk to health associated with this ingredient.

-Vitamin C. Various formulations, like L Glutathione, have been found to have positive effects in reducing melanin production in concentrations higher than 5%. Studies have shown that it’s one of the safest whitening products in the market.

-Alpha Hydroxic Acids, like lactic acid and glycolic acid are safe to use under 10% concentration. Concentrations higher than 10% are only to be used by dermatologists and trained cosmetologists.

How to Get Younger Looking Skin

Anti aging skin care products should give you younger looking skin. Choosing an anti aging skin cream that works isn't easy. But let me show you what your skin care program should contain. Here we will consider 5 possible treatments for your antiaging skin care program.

1. Whitening
2. Restorative Antiaging Skin Cream
3. Eye Contour Gel
4. Hydrating Mask
5. Cleansing Mask

Do you really need all 5 of the above? Let's find out.

Whitening

You may not need whitening if your natural skin tone is just right for you. The reason we include it as potentially part of your anti aging skin care program is because some people with fair skin develop dark spots or age spot as they are sometimes called. Also skin could have uneven tones.

Always choose the type of anti aging skin cream that has no abrasives or harsh chemicals. The best choice that I found contained a natural herbal extract found in Europe that would inhibit melanin production and reduce irritation that sometimes happens when skin becomes thinner.

Restorative Antiaging Skin Cream

Virtually everyone needs a restorative anti aging skin cream at bedtime. When you are fast asleep your body repairs all of your cells (including skin cells) that during the day were damaged.

Find a skin cream that has no colors, fragrances or alcohol. You want no damaging chemicals on your skin. But you do want a anti aging skin care cream that supports the collagen, elastin and skin cell production.

Eye Contour Gel

For the best anti aging skin care program, an eye contour gel is highly recommended. A dead give away when guessing someone's age is things like crows feet, bags and tiny lines. Eyes are often caused to be irritated and itch because some gels have alcohol. The best antiaging skin cream for the area around the eyes is one that contains the latest European ingredients.

As you become a little older, your skin becomes more sensitive to scrubbing. Exfoliating can actually remove healthy skin.

Hydrating Mask

Your daily moisturizers work better and more efficiently with the help of an antiaging skin care hydrating mask. Your entire body needs to be hydrated. In most any moisturizer or antiaging skin cream the primary ingredient is purified water, which is fine, but research has revealed new substances that allow you to “retain” that water, so your skin stays moister, longer. The result is softer and healthier looking.

Antiaging Cleansing Mask

To remove dead skin cells and prevent black heads, acne and pimples a deep cleansing mask will do the job. Acne can come at almost any age, especially if your health and skin care program is not up to par. Be sure to choose a product that contains no chemicals or harsh ingredients.

The best choice for an antiaging skin cream mask is New Zealand mineral clay. It revitalizes and soothes. The result is softer and smoother. You probably will have a hard time finding it in a reliable product. I finally did after a lot of searching. But I can assure you that once I did, it was worth it by the great results I get.

Skin Lightening Creams- for women

To be content with the color and feel of your skin is something odd and weird if you are a woman, who don’t usually dress up like Amy Winehouse on your best outing. To have a fair and flawless skin is any and every woman’s wish. This is not a secret and the cosmetic industry survives on this fact. If a woman feels content with her natural looks, it is a loss to the fashion and cosmetic industry. That is why we have fashion magazines promoting looks that are anything even close to natural. While the fairer tones want their skin tanned, the dark toned want fairer skins and opt for skin lightening creams and other treatments.

There might be a number of skin conditions that women would like to find cures for. But the most common are acne scars, dark sports, liver spots, wrinkles and pigmentation. Some reasons for skin conditions are external while there are internal reasons too. Bad food habits that result in the consumption of salty, spicy and oily food over a long period of time result in intestinal disorders, indigestion and other nutritional imbalances manifests itself through break outs and boils on the face. Inadequate consumption of water would result in dry and scratchy skin that could grow wrinkled over long periods of water deprivation. Dark skin produces more melanin than the fair skin, and melanin is responsible for the darker coloring of the skin. Though the exact cause of liver spots are not known, spotting is the effect of some internal reaction in the body. Acne scars are common consequences of puberty while some suffer it even after due to hormonal imbalances and free radicals. Scarring can also be caused by clogged pores and also infected whiteheads. Oily skin exposed to heat and dust has a tendency to clog pores. Women with oily faces are more prone to clogged pores which could result in some ugly scars. Pigmentation is usually caused by over exposure to sun rays. The deep coloring is the result of high concentration of melanin. While this is more common in women with dark skin tones, the fair skin are prone to pigmentation too like any other.

What ever the reason for dark skin, there are quiet a lot of treatments that suit every wallet and taste. But there are also less expensive and safer solutions that can put your worries at rest, like MD Strength Whitening - Anti Hyper Pigmentation Concentrate. Made from natural ingredients, it is one of the strongest skin lightening creams in the market. The MD Strength Whitening cream has vital natural ingredients that work on the darkest spots of your skin and lightens it n the shortest possible time. The skin lightening cream has active whitening molecules that work on shedding the old and dead skin cells. And from underneath the dead the skin lightening cream helps to rebuild new, youthful skin that is flawless and glows with health. As MD Strength Whitening cream does not contain Hydroquinone, it does not posses any of the risks faced by the users of Hydroquinone based creams. The skin lightening cream is good to treat all kinds of scars and discolorations of the skin. Naturally occurring scars like dark spots, liver spots, age spots, and pigmentation can be effectively cured with MD skin whitening
cream within the shortest possible time. Healing periods may vary according to skin types and the color tones of natural skin and also on the depth and extent of discoloration. It may also depend on the frequency of usage of skin lightening cream.

Skin problems for Dry Skin

The number of people with skin problems has been increasing in recent years. Moreover, there is a notable increase in people who admit to having sensitive and dry skin. There is a bit of difficulty finding a scientific definition for "sensitive skin" as there are many differing, measurable criteria for its definition. However, normal skin can develop a higher sensitivity when exposed to the following stimuli : sunburn; heavy skin-peeling; occupationally-related above normal exposure to water, alkalis and solvents, internal illnesses such as the increased skin dryness seen in age-related diabetes or the general itching that can accompany kidney diseases and psychological factors like stress.

Dry skin is especially common in children under 10 and older people over 60. Between 10 to 50 years of age, the number of women with dry skin is markedly more than in the case of men. The common characteristic of dry skin are light scaling, tightness and sometimes, itching. Basically, there are two types of dry skin - normal dry skin and extreme dry skin. In both types, the cause is essentially a deficit of natural moisturizing factors. A rarer form is atopic dry skin, in which a disturbed fatty acid metabolism of the skin contribute a major role.

Cleaning and Care of Dry Skin

To restore your dry skin to its normal physiological condition, pay extra close attention to your cleansing and skincare routine. In choosing cleansing products for dry skin, here are few pointers to bear in mind :

* Make sure the cleansing preparations are made up of mild cleansing complexes with re-oiling agents that remove fat-soluble (lipophilic) dirt particles.
* The cleansing substances' supply of lipids should promote and ensure an intensive replenishing of skin oils.
* The fatty-acid constituents of the re-oiling agents should also be similar to the skin's natural oils to blend especially well into the horny skin layer, thereby restoring the protective lipid film during washing and helping to maintain your skin's natural pH balance.

Choosing Skin Care Products

It is important to choose skincare products that contain various active ingredients that reinforce the skin's own protective functions. Here are pointers and ingredients to watch our for :

* For example, skincare products that contain the antioxidant Vitamin E are effective in preventing, or at the very least, delaying skin aging. Vitamin E is a fat soluble vitamin that hinders the oxidation of poly-unsaturated fatty acids, thus helping to firm up the cell membrane and delay cell-aging.
* Choose skincare products that protect the skin from damaging environmental influences such as dryness and colds. Where the skin condition has been disturbed, choose skincare products that contain moisturizing agents and substance that will help normalize the skin, heal it and prevent diseases. For example, as a Vitamin B derivative, Dexpanthenol is said to enhance wound healing and cell-formation. Vitamin C in citric acid form is also a popular skincare substance that is used mainly because it helps in wound-healing and cell regenerations.
* Those with especially sensitive-skin or skin affected by neurodermatitis should choose skincare products suitable for deodorant-intolerant skin.
* The skincare products' efficacy should have been objectively and comprehensively evaluated and the confirmed in clinical studies.

Healthy skin, for the most part, results from a balance of moisture and oils and the physiological pH-value (acid mantle of the skin around 4.5 - 5.75) of the skin's surface. Always remember to choose cleansing and skincare products that are quickly absorbed into the skin and activate the various regenerating metabolic processes of the skin cells.

Causes of Dry Skin :

* Biological skin ageing
* Chemical and medicinal influences
* Climate and environment
* Genetic disposition
* Hormonal influences
* Illness
* Light-induced skin ageing
* Nutrition

Natural Skin Lightning And Skin Whitening

Many African-American women desire a lighter skin complexion, and a skin that is even and toned. There are lots of women who are fighting with dark spots on their skin and dark areas, and although black is beautiful, blotchy pigments and unhealthy skin is unwanted.

Regardless of what the reasons may be, there is no doubt that the use of skin lightning creams is becoming more and more popular among people with dark skin. But this doesn’t mean that any cream on the shelf is safe for you and your skin. Many creams still use harsh ingredients and chemicals such as mercury, steroids and hydroquinone. This might not mean a lot to you, but it can actually have a destructive impact on your skin. Even if you are using these types of creams and lotions without seeing any side effects, you should probably know the dangers of the substances.

Hydroquinone for example, does not make your skin lighter nor bleaches your skin. Hydroquinone actually interferes with your skin structure, altering your natural state and limiting the production of melanin – the substance responsible for your natural skin color. It means that you take away your skin’s natural protection, making it vulnerable to skin cancer. The use of hydroquinone is dangerous and it is even illegal in several countries around the world.

Mercury. Nobody can deny that mercury lightens dark spots, but nobody can also deny the dangers of using mercury. Mercury poisoning is very dangerous and include anything bad you can imagine, starting from headaches, fatigues and memory loss and even severe kidney damage. Mercury based cream can also cause rashes, irritation and changes to the skin. Long term effects are impossible to reverse.

Steroids. The use of steroids can cause skin thinning and create deep stretch marks. Steroids side effects are associated with cellulites, eczema, fungal infection, even acne and further pigmentation disorders.

Before you decide on a lightning cream and skin lightning products, you should read the ingredients list and see if the product is safe or not. There are many natural products on market, products that are derived from plant extracts such as mulberry leaves, lemon leaves, wheat germ and corn. None of the products contain hydroquinone and the active ingredient is called Vegeclarine, a plant derivative. Some products also contain caviar extracts, a unique ingredient that helps lighten the skin.

Makari De Suisse makes a wonderful Caviar Face Lightening - a high performance brightening treatment that intensively targets hyper-pigmentation to give the skin an extraordinary radiance and beautiful even coloration. This cream works gradually, without painful surgery or toxic chemicals. The duo-moisturizing complexion enhancing cream relieves you from the appearance of expression lines and crows feet.

Caviar extracts contains proteins, essential amino acids that are substantial for cell metabolism. Communication between the cells is supported and therefore the repair mechanism positively affected. The cream also provides moisture, cell metabolism stimulation and repair of skin damages.

Tips For Choosing Skin Care Products For African-American Skin

Skin, the largest organ in our body is made up of multiple layers of epithelial tissues that guard the underlying muscles and organs of our. Skin pigmentation (human skin color) on the other hand varies among peoples of the world. Skin color is determined by the amount of melanin, the pigment in the skin. More concentration of melanin in the body will give you a dark person so it goes without saying that a light-skinned person would have less of the melanin compound in the body.

African-American skin have that distinction of having the most of melanin concentration in the body and studies show that this melanin content in African-American skin has a greater tendency to hyper-pigmentation, or specks of darker colored skin surface that may appear as blemishes over time if not protected properly. This is one important consideration to take in choosing the right skin care product.

There is nothing really fancy in caring for the African American skin, dry skin being a much more common condition for this skin type. Body nourishment is the key. Drinking plenty of fluids will help prevent skin dryness and keep it radiant. A moisturizer is very essential to keep the skin soft and smooth. Choose moisturizers that are hypoallergenic and oil-free. A good moisturizer should absorb into your skin without a trace, creating an invisible barrier against moisture loss. When cleansing your skin, use a non-soap cleanser. Soap will dry and irritate your skin. Be sure to use warm water as well since water that is too hot will also dry out the skin.

African Americans also often have trouble with an oily complexion due to the fact that their skin has more, and larger, sebaceous (or oil) glands than Caucasian or Asian skin. The large number of sebaceous glands can produce unwanted oily or shiny appearance. If these oil glands are over-active they can become clogged and cause acne to break out on the skin. For the very oily or acne-prone skin, an oil-control lotion will help eliminate shine for hours.

Exfoliate with a mild and gentle exfoliate that can be used daily. Exfoliating rids the skin of dead skin cell, and clears the pores so they can accept more moisture. For blemish prone skin, using an exfoliating product with salicylic acid will aid in clearing any break out.

Another important consideration is the regular use of sunscreen. While more melanin content in the body can help protect from the sun, a lot of unprotected skin exposure to it can cause the dreaded skin cancer. It is highly recommended to use one with an SPF 30 at the very least.

Facial skin, no matter the type needs to be cared for always. It is that part of the body that we look at first at anytime. No other part of our body is subjected to so much scrutiny as the face, so better to always have it healthy, radiant and blemish free. Let us make intelligent efforts to meet this end and in doing so, it gives us the confidence we need that ultimately transcends all skin color prejudices.

All Natural Skin Care Products

There are many ways to repair skin damage and maintain its youthful appearance. It could be as simple as following basic skin care, avoiding those that lead to skin damage and finding all natural skin care products ideal for your type of skin. The problem, however, is that there are so many different creams and skin care products out there. Skin care tips are sometimes contradictory that the once simple solution to skin damage became more baffling.

There is no best cream for everyone but there is such a thing as healthiest cream for your skin. This is because people’s skin type differs. Some are oilier while some are drier. Some are more tolerant of the sun’s rays while some are more sensitive. A person’s lifestyle should also dictate on which cream to purchase. This is because people can be exposed to different triggers that cause free radicals. This means that all natural skin care products you have to purchase should focus on protection your skin needs the most.

The first thing one has to consider when buying the healthiest cream is its protection against the sun. Long exposure to the sun has been long proven to lead to skin damage that sunscreen is one of the best bets for choosing one. Being exposed to the sun for long hours has many consequences including sun spots, discoloration, dryness and wrinkles.

The condition of the skin will inevitably deteriorate with time but it can be slowed down with apt skin regimen and all natural skin care products. There are a few components that your cream has to have to guarantee that it would help you keep that youthful glow. The first one is antioxidants. Free radicals lead to oxidation which has been considered to be a culprit in the process of skin aging. Antioxidants, such as vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E have been known to kill free radicals and keep the cells of the skin healthy. Having these ingredients in your skin care products would definitely prove to be beneficial.

Products with water and oil need preservatives to prevent bacterial growth after they are opened. Most skin care products contain preservatives, such as quaternium-15 and imidazolidynyl urea, that sometimes cause skin irritation. For people who have skin reactions from these preservatives, it is best to resort to all natural skin care products.

Another main consideration is the moisturizing properties of the cream. Moisturizers, in all natural skin care products, can hold water in the outermost layer of skin. Aside from that, they also act as a temporary barrier that allows damaged cells of the skin to be repaired on their own. Again, it all depends on the type of your skin. For normal to oily skin, water-based moisturizers are best to avoid that greasy feeling. On the other hand, those with dry skin and mature skin may need more moisturizing components that it has to be oil-based.

It is not enough to use the cream that suits your skin best. You still have follow a basic skin care regimen and avoid other factors that lead to skin damage. A multi-level strategy might just do wonders for skin repair and its maintenance. Having a well-balanced diet and having a healthy lifestyle can also improve the condition of your skin.

Which Skin Lightening Products Work Best For Asian Skin?

Asians need to take special care when choosing a skin lightening product. We’ll say it right up front. Asian skin bleaching is totally safe using skin lightening products made with natural ingredients such as kojic acid, Alpha Arbutin, and Vitamin C. There are no side effects reported on Asian skin (or any other ethnic skin tone). Medical researchers sing the praises of the effectiveness.

We’ll also say right up front that anyone with Asian skin tones should stay away from hydroquinone. There can be serious side effects to Asian skin bleaching using a hydroquinone-based skin lightening product. In fact, skin color from light brown to very dark is susceptible. Many doctors refuse to use hydroquinone at all on people of color.

Doctors think Alpha Arbutin is very safe. One significant study of skin lightening products was done in Japan. Doctors in Osaka tested whether Alpha Arbutin worked as a skin lightener. The Asian doctors were impressed with the results. Alpha Arbutin inhibited melanin, which is what naturally gives Asian skin its deeper color. The doctors saw melanin decrease in new cells by 40%. On the basis of their biochemical research, the Japanese doctors wrote that alpha arbutin was safe, and effective.

The evidence against hydroquinone on darker-pigmented skin is alarming, and should be a factor in Asian skin bleaching decisions.

• An overseas study reported nerve damage in a woman using two hydroquinone-based skin fading creams for four years. Within four months of cutting out hydroquinone, the symptoms disappeared and she walked again without difficulty.

• Even if there is not that kind of crippling side effects, hydroquinone can simply backfire on Asian skin. It has turned darker-pigmented cells darker, grey, and even red or purple.

• Asians choosing a skin lightening product will note that hydroquinone has been banned in Japan.

Hydroquinone is also illegal in Great Britain. There is a very large Asian population in London. British Health Authorities actually see black market hydroquinone skin fading creams bootlegged specifically for Asian skin.

Asian skin bleaching is a not a trend but is cultural. Lighter skin in Asian society is seen as a sign of wealth and status. London Police think Asians are targeted as customers of illegal hydroquinone products. Officers recently raided an Asian importer. They found hydroquinone soap. Soap would be especially harmful. The danger that in any cut or scrapes hydroquinone will penetrate into the bloodstream to reach the liver and kidneys. There it can cause more damage.

Asians shopping for skin lightening products in the US should know that hydroquinone is still available over-the-counter and in prescription form in the US.

Another dangerous skin bleaching chemical cannot be use in US-made skin products. But it is frequently an ingredient in skin lightening products produced in Asian countries and shipped worldwide. If you have Asian skin, you will also want to beware of mercury. Mercury poisoning is known to cause nerve and kidney damage. Since overall skin tone bleaching is so prevalent in brown and Asian skin populations, mercury is a worldwide concern.

• One case involved brown-skinned people in Tanzania, who had mercury poisoning. Doctors suspected fish, or mining. It turned out all of the test cases had poisoned their bodies using mercury-based skin bleaching products.

• What mercury skin lightening cream did to lab rats is startling. Doctors found repeated application of a cream with a mercury base permanently damaged kidneys, brain and liver.

There is compelling evidence that Asian skin bleaching advocates should choose creams made from natural ingredients rather than chemicals.

Skin Whitening Beauty Tips

Fair skin is sexy. A lady with fair fine skin is regarded as a fair beauty.

For centuries, men have equated fair skin on ladies with beauty. Even today, although tan skin is appreciated in the west, most cultures prize fair skin. Men love fair beauties. Not the sickly white, corpse-like complexion, but fair, translucent and radiant with a healthy rosy flush.

With sun exposure, even wearing an SPF 50 sunblock will not prevent your skin from darkening. That fair, white complexion is hard to attain and just as hard to maintain.

In the past, women would stay out of the sun as far as possible in order to prevent their skin from darkening. If they had to go out in the sun, they would carry parasols to protect themselves from the sun's skin-darkening rays.

Whitening home remedies have been in existence for as long as fair skin has been in vogue. In the kitchen, a woman might mix egg white with lemon juice to use as a facial mask to lighten the skin.

Licorice root contains substances that fade away the pigmentation in the skin and hence is used in many skin lightening products. Hydroquinone is another potent skin lightening ingredient used in skin whitening treats. It disrupts the production of melanin and hence prevents skin from darkening. Arbutin is another skin lightening ingredient that works by inhibiting the production of melanin.

Many of the skin whitening products contain plant extracts to give you fairer skin. Mulberry, white mulberry and paper mulberry contain arbutin which makes skin fairer by preventing your skin from darkening. Elizabeth Arden's Prevage White Concentrate Brightening Serum has Soy Ferulate-C.

Most whitening skincare products make skin fairer by sloughing off the darkened surface of the epidermis. Alpha hydroxy acids like lactic acid and glycolic acid remove hyperpigmented skin cells and boost cell turnover, hence making skin fairer. Garnier light night overnight whitening peeling cream uses AHAs to peel the skin and slow down melanin production.

Then there are those that prevent skin from darkening by inhibiting melanin production. Melanin is the pigment that gives skin its color. More melanin is produced when the skin is exposed to sunlight. Vitamin C, Kojic acid, Azelaic acid, Arbutin and Hydroquinone are substances often used in skin whitening products to lighten your skin through the inhibition of melanin production. Biotherm white detox targets RAB27 which would otherwise support the melanin that would cause dark spots.

Typically, whitening skincare products treat the epidermis at most. Recently, Lancome has come up with a range that treats the dermis as well as the epidermis. Since UV rays penetrate the dermis as well as the epidermis and causes inflammatory messengers to stimulate melanocytes to produce melanin which causes skin to darken, Lancome's blanc expert GN-White generating new whiteness spot eraser targets these inflammatory messengers on the epidermis and dermis to prevent the darkening of the skin.

This is done through the use of sphinganine and mint to neutralize those signals so that melanocytes aren't stimulated to make melanin.

Skin whitening treatment: the secret to skin spots

There are primarily two types of spots-the inflammatory and non-inflammatory spot, with non-inflammatory skin spots being better treated with skin whitening treatments. The non-inflammatory skin spots are grouped under blackhead skin spots and whitehead skin spots. They are very difficult to differentiate, but you can easily do that by noting the spots they occupy. Acnes are stimulated or come as a result of oil imbalances and moisture on human skin, especially dry skins with hyper oil concentrations so as to compensate the moisture shortfall in the skin. Inflammatory spots are slightly different from the non-inflammatory spots and cannot be countered using skin whitening treatments effectively. Skin whitening treatments work by curbing the level of melanin production in the skin while at the same time carrying out the skin whitening tendency on the skin that has undergone through discolorations. Melanin imbalance is what causes the skin discoloration and can only be restored by the skin whitening products. Most people, who have been struck by acne, find themselves desperate enough to put their full belief finding a haven in skin whitening treatment products. However, some still address the cause of trouble such as dehydration, scarring and skin dryness. Still skin whitening treatments can greatly assists in the post-inflammatory pigmentation as well as macules in case they occur. Finding the best skin treatment cream for your discolored skin may be a hit tasking but, with tip on how to look for a skin whitening treatment cream, you will be in for a smooth sail. First, look for a skin treatment cream that is not harmful to your skin, this you can do by analyzing the chemicals used to make it. The finest skin whitening treatment product is made up of natural ingredients that are carefully mixed; a fact that makes them completely safe and applicable to use. The effective natural ingredients that you will find in a fine skin whitener include extrapone nutgrass root useful in stopping melanin production; phytessence wakame useful for protecting the skin against harmful sun’s rays and shea butter that is associated with protection of skin from sun’s radiation. Another factor to consider if you want to get the best skin whitening treatmentproduct is to analyze the symptoms of the spots in your skin. Among the symptoms to look for include dark pigmentation, skin dullness, skin roughness, and wrinkles on the skin, among others. The secret of understanding the symptoms is to be able to look for the most appropriate medication of your case as well as being able to differentiate whether your infection is inflammatory or non-inflammatory; remember not all skin infections are treated using skin whitening

Skin Whitening and Acne Scars

Can skin whitening products fade and disappear scar marks and blemishes caused by chronic acne? Whether skin whitening works hinges on the type of acne the scar was formed by.

The two primary classes of acne are inflammatory and noninflammatory acne. Skin whitening treatments are your best bet for non-inflammatory acne. Noninflammatory acne includes blackheads and whiteheads, primarily distinguished by where the clogged pore is situated. They are stimulated by an imbalance of oil and moisture on the skin, and are inclined to take place on dehydrated skin where oil is hyperactive in compensation for the deficiency of moisture in the skin.

Inflammatory acne is different; rather than a mere clogged pore, it's stimulated from an inflammation in response to fast-growing bacteria. Papules are little, firmly pink bumps, and are the most moderate form. Pustules are small moonlike lesions and distinctly contain pus; they are reddish at the base with a yellow or milklike center. Nodules or cysts are big, painful, reddened, pus-filled lesions deep inside the skin. They can harden into a thick cyst, and can leave behind deep, hard-to-remove scars.

Skin whitening products curb melanin production and address skin discolorations caused by an unbalance in melanin output. Scar marks changing the surface of the skin instead of the color (like icepick or rolling marks) can't be addressed with whitening products. Rather, whitening products fade post-inflammatory pigmentation, while not as efficaciously as they fade freckles.

Acne sufferers believe skin whitening products will help. But for many, the source of the trouble of acne besides scarring is dehydration or skin dryness. Whitening only assists post-inflammatory pigmentation, or macules once they have occurred. As a suggestion, restore your oil and moisture imbalance first, then you can work on repairing the scars.

Serums and essences can help attain that balance by sinking in deep into your skin, unlike ordinary moisturizers, and are a helpful complement to skin whitening. Regular usage helps you obtain an optimum balance of oil and moisture. And because skin is hydrated, skin cells blemished by acne will be repaired. In the end, the top layer of damaged cells will slough off; whenever the cells below are properly hydrated, you will find a reduction in acne.

Skin Whitening the Safe Way

For whatever reason, you might be thinking about skin whitening. While there are many roads to the same destination (uniformly colored and radiant skin), some are a lot safer than others.

First, let's look at the bad methods of skin whitening. Bleaching the skin with any number of chemicals that affect the pigmentation of the skin may not always have the desired effect.

There are, of course, hundreds of products out there that claim to help lighten your skin color or improve the overall quality of your skin. Some of these products may include one or more of the following - hydroquinone, mercury, arbutin, tretinoin, kojic acid and azelaic acid.
I don't know about you, but those are some pretty scary names. Other methods include lasers, which doesn't sound like it would be too much fun. (I'm sure it's not the type of lasers they use in Star Trek, but still...)

Granted, glutathione has a name just as frightening and intimidating as the others just listed, but it's something that occurs naturally in the body.

Glutathione is a "master antioxidant" that resides within cells of all living tissue. It's what handles and routes toxins in the body to other antioxidants like Vitamin C and Vitamin E that operate outside the cell.

In simpler terms, it's something you want to have in the right amounts in your body to help combat cell damage.

One of the side effects of increased amounts of glutathione in a person is that it causes skin whitening. It does this by inhibiting (blocking) melanin. Blocking melanin causes the pigmentation (color) of your skin to become lighter.

When this knowledge was first discovered, there weren't any methods available to easily increase the body's level of glutathione. Not a lot was known in the beginning. Recently, though, it's been found that taking L-glutathione (a reduced form of glutathione) orally can help increase the body's glutathione levels. It's not as effective as delivery directly into the bloodstream, but taken orally in the right doses, it's been shown to have an effect not only on skin color and the overall health of the skin.

So now we have a way to whiten skin and keep it healthy at the same time. If you've been considering skin whitening, you now have an option that will improve your skin tone, make it more uniform in color and also help keep your body healthy in other ways.

I don't know about you, but this seems like a win-win situation. Glutathione isn't a cure all, but it is a safe and healthy method of skin whitening. If that's something you're considering, for whatever reason, be sure to find out more about glutathione and how it might help you.

Seven Simple Skin whitening Tips For Beautiful Skin

Seven Simple Skin whitening Tips For Beautiful Skin
Have you read one skin care tip after another and felt unsure about which one you should follow? If you open up magazines or surf the web, you will find loads of skin care suggestions and oftentimes it's simply hit or miss. It can be very difficult to sort through the hype to find honest, truthful, clinically proven skin care advice. We will discuss how to sort much of the information out there to get to the simple facts quickly and easily.

When you want to get skin whitening tips avoid consulting magazines. Mainstream magazines are partial to big brand products that pay to have their name mentioned. It's hard to know what is really effective unless you try it yourself but here are some surefire tips that will have your skin looking clear, young, and beautiful in no time.

1. Many skin care tips out there recommend over-cleansing your skin. The truth is that you only need to cleanse your skin in the evening before you go to bed. Splashing your face with warm water in the morning is sufficient. Over-cleansing can lead to dryness and irritation.

2. This is probably a skin care tip you've already heard, but moisturize your skin frequently. Use both a day cream and a night cream for the best results. Look for natural and effective moisturizing ingredients such as grapeseed oil, jojoba oil, olive oil, avocado extract, and shea butter.

3. Of the many skin care tips that are overlooked, one is the importance of using a deeply hydrating mask for a periodic hydrating boost. Simply applying creams day to day is not enough in order to give your face and neck the deep moisturizing treatment they need.

4. Another skin care tip that involves mask is using a deep cleansing treatment. Look for a deep cleansing mask that contains bentone gel and kaolin clay to remove the build-up of dirt and grime from your pores.

5. Don't apply just any cream to your eyes. Look for a light eye gel specifically for use around the eyes. Keep an eye out for ingredients like Eyeliss and Haloxyl, which are scientifically proven to reduce under-eye circles, wrinkles, and bags.

6. Avoid using creams that contain an SPF factor. Most of the skin care tips you have heard all your life surely preach the importance of SPF factors in skin creams but the truth is that SPF factors can cause skin problems and have been linked to cancer. To avoid sun exposure, use a wide brim hat and sun umbrella instead.

7. If you want to whiten your complexion, look for a cream that contains extrapone nutgrass. Unlike other whitening ingredients, extrapone nutgrass does not cause irritation. You can enjoy its whitening effects without experiencing any harmful side effects.

Do yourself a favor and follow the skin whitening tips listed here in order to achieve young, beautiful skin. Your best bet is to follow these tips religiously and if you do so, you will look in the mirror and see the skin you've always dreamed of having in no time, guaranteed.

A Guide to Skin Whitening

Are you frustrated with spots, imperfections and darkened areas from sun exposure? There is a natural skin whitening cream that can safely lighten color, without causing irritation. Most of the products on the market are very irritating and there is one ingredient that you should never use, because it can cause serious long-term adverse reactions. It's called hydroquinone.

Although many dermatologists consider it "safe" or at least "safer" than other treatments, its use has been banned in some countries, including France. It is feared to increase the risk of cancer, but it is known to cause the appearance of dark bumps in some people. In other words, don't take a chance.

In other whiteners, toxic mercury is the active ingredient. Mercury is a heavy metal that is known to cause numerous health problems. The label of ingredients is your best source of information.

The natural skin whitening cream that I recommend contains extracts from the nut-grass plant. The botanical name for this medicinal plant is Cyperus Rotundus. It is native to areas of Europe, Africa and Asia. It was used traditionally to treat bruises and other wounds. In recent years, scientists learned that it reduced irritation on the skin and a new cream was developed for that purpose. As often happens, they learned by accident that it was an effective whitener, as well.

The compound that creates the skin's color is called melanin. Melanin is naturally present in humans. The production of melanin increases due to exposure to UVB rays from the sun. Substances like hydroquinone are effective because they inhibit the production of melanin. Other compounds used in whiteners have a bleaching affect that is not actually desirable.

The natural skin whitening system that contains nut grass extracts also inhibits the production of melanin. A concentration of .5% has been shown in scientific studies to inhibit melanin production by over 40%, with no harmful side effects. The company that makes it recommends alternating its use with there age defense day cream on a monthly basis, depending on the amount of time that you spend in the sun.

You should be aware that melanin provides natural protection from skin-cancer. So, once you begin lightening, you will need to use extra care when you are out of doors. However, many of the sunscreens on the market have been shown to increase the risk of certain types of skin-cancer. The best advice is to wear a hat to protect your face and use a zinc oxide sun-block on exposed areas.

The natural skin whitening system mentioned in this article also contains anti-aging ingredients and antioxidants that protect the cells from free radical damage, which may provide some protection from cancer, as well. But, you always want to play it safe in the sun.

Some sunlight is good for you. It is needed for the body to produce vitamin D. If you are avoiding all exposure to sunlight, you should take a daily supplement that contains vitamin D3.

What's stopping you from checking out the ingredients in any natural skin whitening solution? Before you buy it, make sure they're safe. That's the best advice of all.

Skin Whitening Beauty Tips - Make Your Skin Fairer

This is done through the use of sphinganine and mint to neutralize those signals so that melanocytes aren't stimul

Skin Whitening. the Secret became famous people

Skin whitening industry in Asian and African countries is booming, with a plethora of skin whitening products to select from.

Skin whitening in Asia has its origins in China and Japan, where white complexion was seen as noble and aristocratic. Those rich enough could afford to stay indoors, while peasants that had to work outdoors got a dark complexion. In Africa can be traced back to the time of the African slave trade. Light-skinned slaves were usually given preferential treatment compared to their dark-skinned peers.

Studies have shown that African American men prefer light-skinned partners. Similar studies have also shown a clear link between light skin and better economic and social status.

Manufacturers of "SW+SS" skin whitening products have released figures from a recent research showing that sales of skin whitening products worldwide have doubled during the past years due to the increase of safe skin whitening products, like l glutathione based skin whitening soaps and creams.

With the advent of safe skin whitening products in the market, maybe the future is bright after all.

Skin whitening treatment: the secret to skin spots

There are primarily two types of spots-the inflammatory and non-inflammatory spot, with non-inflammatory skin spots being better treated with skin whitening treatments. Skin Whitening

Throughout history fair, white skin has been a desirable physical attribute for a variety of societal and cultural reasons. In many Asian cultures, the look of porcelain white skin was considered a sign of good breeding or association with royalty or other elite cultural sects, particularly in women. Those members of the working classes often bore the look of laborers with skin tone that were darkened by exposure to the sun and soiled from daily work. Even in Renaissance Europe many classical paintings depict women who, aside from looking well fed and well clothed, had very fair complexions. Kabuki Theater in Japan features all male casts and the actors whose faces where adorned with white makeup, especially when portraying womens characters.

The desire to conform to this standard has driven many people on a search to whiten darker skin pigments, even in some African cultures where dark skin pigmentation was thought to be an adaptation to environmental conditions especially the heat of the equatorial sun. The modern practice of skin whitening has been the cause of some controversy as dark skin pigmented individuals seek to shed their dark skin color in an attempt to gain cultural acceptance in predominantly white European societies. Differences in opinion on the perceived benefits of skin whitening have even arisen in India where women have been encouraged to lighten their skin in order to look more Western and possibly more attractive to potential romantic suitors. It is somewhat ironic that in the United States and Europe, many people light skinned people seek to darken their skin color by tanning, either in the sun, using a tanning bed or employing spray-on tanning products.

Not all skin lightening is done to create a particular look for the sake of fashion. Many people suffer from medical conditions that cause uneven skin pigmentations that can have a very negative impact on ones self image and skin lightening products can have help to even out the skin tone and greatly enhance self image and self confidence. Skin pigment disorders can occur when too little or too much of a compound known as melanin. The more melanin that is present in the skins cells the darker skin pigment tend to be.

For as long as there has been a desire to lighten the skin there have been potions and treatments used to achieve the goal of lighter skin. Homemade solutions and potions with roots in folklore have existed for many, many years. Some of these solutions were benign and fairly harmless, while some could very hazardous. In response to the need for reliable products, the cosmetics market has seen an increase in the number, quality and price of such products. Some products have been criticized for containing levels of mercury that are potentially hazardous.

Sunscreen has been used to prevent the darkening of the skin that occurs through exposure to the sun. On the other extreme is the use of products that actually lighten or even whiten skin pigmentations. A common goal of most skin whitening products is to block or greatly reduce the amount of melanin produced in the skin. Many topically applied creams and lotions contain concentrations of hydroquinone sometimes in combination with other ingredients that may enhance the lightening effects. Cortizone is often the secondary ingrediant since contrizone acts as an anti-inflammatory. There are numerous compounds that are used as alternatives to hydroquinone with varying results.

Medical lasers have been used to treat medically recognized skin pigmentation disorders thought there is debate about the overall effectiveness of this treatment depending on the degree of pigmentation.

Considering Skin Whitening?

Are you thinking about skin whitening? Here are some things to consider.

Skin whitening has been in practice around the world for at least hundreds of years. While there are many different reasons people want to lighten the color of their skin, it's a personal choice that some will make and some won't.

Sometimes people get their skin whitened to have an effect on their social status, but other times it's to help correct skin problems like discoloration, blotches and uneven skin tone.

Some might say that this is all about vanity, about people just wanting to look better and feel good about themselves. What's wrong with that, though? Having clear, uniformly colored skin can go a long way to help with self-esteem.

With a high self-esteem, people feel more confident and as a result are capable of bigger and better things. So skin whitening might be connected to vanity, but it's not necessarily a terrible thing.

There are a lot of different skin whitening techniques and creams out there using a wide array of substances. Hydroquinone, mercury, arbutin, tretinoin, kojic acid and azelaic acid are some of the things used in some topical ointments for skin lightening.

Some of those don't sound that bad ... but Mercury? That's the stuff they use in thermometers and is highly toxic in the wrong doses! Are there alternatives if you want your skin whitened?

Lasers are also sometimes used in skin whitening, but with the technology available today, it's not a very consistent way to lighten your skin pigmentation. They've been known to cause problems, especially for people with a darker natural skin color.

Another, some might say safer, way to skin whitening is a side effect of L-glutathione. Glutathione inhibits the production of melanin, which causes a lightening of skin color. It sounds a lot safer than products that contain mercury.

Whether or not to lighten your skin color is a decision that shouldn't be made lightly. It should be a personal choice, though, not clouded too much by what other people might think.

You should still do your homework when thinking about having your skin whitened by any method. One idea is to try to go online and find other people who have had success with different methods of skin whitening.

To balance those people, you might also read about any people who may have had problems with various techniques at skin whitening. (Anyone have Michael Jackson's email?!)

Other people might have their thoughts and opinions about skin whitening, but when all is said and done, it's your choice as to whether or not it's something for you. Skin whitening can go a long way in helping people feel better about themselves.

And when people feel better about themselves, they tend to feel better about other people and the world in general, making it an easier place for all of us to live.

Anti Wrinkle Lotion

The best wrinkle treatment is not the most expensive, nor is it highly regarded by celebrities. In truth, the best anti wrinkle treatments are the ones that work, period. In most cases, this actually means an effective wrinkle lotion; one that has been scientifically proven to reduce wrinkles and finelines.

Here a few types of anti wrinkle cream that have been proven to lessen a person's perceived age. I.E. wrinkles, finelines, crows feet, under eye bags, etc.

Wrinkle Freezing Cream: This type of lotion is the quickest working wrinkle lotion of them all. Not only does it go to work in seconds, but it is also supposed to promote better skin health in the long run. Most wrinkle freezing skin creams work because of a natural chemical called GABA, which is gamma amino-butyric acid. This chemical basically cuts off the nerve signals sent to the facial muscles, which in a very real sense freezes the face and plumps out wrinkles.

Anti Aging Skin Cream: The most basic wrinkle lotion designed to treat the symptoms of aging. Most anti aging skin creams share one specific property, which is the ability to increase collagen levels in an individual. This type of wrinkle lotion goes to great lengths to revitalize and improve collagen in a person's body. It's ideology; by increasing collagen, you reduce wrinkles & finelines and you improve skin quality to boot!

Not all wrinkle freezing cream works on the principle of GABA, so it's important to know what ingredients the cream contains and whether or not they have long term effects on your skin's health; be it bad or good.

Eye Wrinkle Skin Cream: This cream is exactly as it sounds, as it is made specifically for the treatment of eye wrinkles.

Since common anti wrinkle skin creams are known for their irritating properties -- especially when applied near the eyes -- wrinkle eye cream is the all-around better solution. This sort of wrinkle lotion is specially made to sooth and comfort the skin around the eyes, all the while working to reduce wrinkles, finelines, eye bags, and crows feet. For a person heavily worried about eye wrinkles, this is the type of wrinkle lotion they really need to be using.

For a wrinkle lotion to be among the best anti wrinkle treatments, it has to be made up of top quality ingredients and it has to actually reduce a person's perceived age. If it doesn't, well, then it's not worth your time!

Facial Wrinkle Removal Cream - Start Winning The War On Aging

In our teens, wrinkles are non-existent. In our 20's, they aren't even a worry. In our 30's, they get little attention. In our 40's, they start giving us a scare. In our 50's, it's full scale war with wrinkles and the signs of aging!

The "wrinkle war" may take awhile to actually begin, but rest assured, it will start whether you like it or not! The question is though: will you be prepared to fight off those wrinkles? Or, will you just succumb to them and be labeled as an "old" person for the rest of your life? If you're willing to fight, then you must take hold of your most prized weapon, facial wrinkle removal cream.

It may not seem like an all important tool, but it most definitely is; especially for someone who is getting up there is years. Believe it or not, a good facial wrinkle removal cream not only fights wrinkles and combats the signs of aging, but it also builds a strong defense that blocks wrinkles, finelines, eye bags, crows feet, and all those other pesky aging side effects. In a nutshell, it is your primary weapon to keep your perceived age as low as you want it to be.

When to Start Using Facial Wrinkle Removal Cream

Opinions vary when it comes to the best age to start using wrinkle remover cream. And contrary to what you may think, it's not when you start noticing wrinkles -- it's WAY before that. Most experts agree that to halt the onslaught of wrinkles, you need to begin using facial wrinkle removal cream by your 40's, at the latest. Some even go as far as to say the mid 30's are the best time to start using the cream.

Are either of these opinions completely true? No -- they are just opinions based on theory. However, since every person's skin is indeed different, it's just safer to use an estimate (around the age of 35 to 40) rather than an "etched-in-stone" figure when it comes to using facial wrinkle removal cream.
